The Daisy Jopling Music Mentorship Foundation brings the power of world-class music-making into community performances that transform people’s lives.

Throughout 2020 the DJMMF has continued its programs online, offering workshops in beatboxing, body percussion and dance choreography, as well as free weekly string instrument tuition which has empowered, transformed and uplifted children worldwide.

In October 2020, we created an extraordinary mentorship program called “Illuminance” on Bannerman Island, NY. Students received mentorships in sound engineering, moonlight photography and musical performance.

In 2021 we are creating a 1000 voice virtual choir with children from around the world, including mentorships in songwriting, musical arranging, sound and video editing, projections
and lighting design.

We are also creating two cross-cultural music mentorship performances in October/November 2021 at the Pyramids in Egypt and at the Taj Mahal in India. We will mentor children internationally, fostering peace, self-empowerment and joy.

While this work is always important, it’s super important now, to uplift and inspire learning for students and parents who are stuck at home.
