Concerts and Mentorship

About

One of our longest standing practices at DJF is including student performers in our concerts. Students are more likely to practice when they know they have something to work towards, especially if that something is a performance with Daisy Jopling at a venue like the Paramount!

Why It’s Important

Not only do students have an extra push to rehearse when they have something concrete to prepare for, but students improve the most when performing in front of people. Getting a child on stage is the best way to boost their confidence and create experiences with music that they will remember forever.
Concerts are also major fundraisers for the foundation, as people are most inspired to donate after seeing the students (and Daisy) in action. With our Candlelight Concert series starting up, in which 50% of each ticket will go directly to the foundation, the sponsorship of concerts impacts our existing students, and our ability to reach new students, now more than ever.
